2011 Season Behind Us

Here are my true feelings of how the season ended for the Red Sox. I expressed my feelings down the stretch that I was so disappointed with their play that they did not deserve to go to the playoffs. People thought I gave up on them but on the contrary I did not. I watched almost every game in September and seeing how they played and their overall attitude about it all it really looked to me like they were just going through the motions. With that much talent on this team and too see how they folded down the stretch made no sense to me at all except for they did not have that passion to win.
Well apparently I was not the only one that saw that and now you see changes are happening at the top. Do I blame Tito and Epstein for what happen not completely because these players have accountability as well but if you can not get that candle to light then either you need a new lighter or a new candle and appears they are taking the approach they need a new lighter. So I am now curious what kind of GM and Manager they are going to hire and honestly I really do not want them to hire within the organization they need to bring new blood in and change the atmosphere around.
So before I start to comment on what players stay and what players go I need to see how the top of the totem pole looks and then I will start to express my feelings there. I am a diehard Red Sox fan that never changed but I hate teams that back in or be awarded something they do not deserve and this team did not deserve to move on and they got what they deserved on the last day of the season. So on that said I am putting last year behind now and moving forward to the 2012 season. Oh yea there is a World Series going on is anyone else going to watch this besides Rangers and Cardinals fans?
